With more than 17 years of experience working in the finance sector - first within market risk then shifting focus to operational risk and more recently moving into the field of HR - I am a strong believer that an inclusive culture contributes to better company performance. Being an English-speaker working in a predominantly Dutch-speaking environment, and being a risk professional within HR, I experience how important feeling included is in creating the conditions to foster diverse perspectives. As HR Manager - responsible for driving our diversity & inclusion agenda forward - I also sit on the HR Management team at Van Lanschot Kempen - with a focus on collectively determining the vision of HR and supporting the execution of our strategy. In 2022 I was proud to oversee the creation and launch of our Inclusion & Diversity Policy.
