This presentation details the collaborative efforts of Fresenius Kabi and COLMEIA in developing a comprehensive job architecture framework tailored to an international scale. The initiative was driven by the necessity to standardize a vast array of job roles across Fresenius Kabi’s global operations, which include sales in 80 countries, 50 production sites, and 20 R&D centers. By implementing COLMEIA’s technologies, the project aims to unify disparate job structures into a single Global Job Catalog. This facilitates enhanced benchmarking, compensation management and career planning, while ensuring compliance with the upcoming EU directive on Equal Pay and integration into the HR system Workday.
The approach involved overcoming significant challenges identified during vendor selection and in system integration, with an emphasis on scalability, compliance, and user engagement. The architecture supports real-time collaboration and leverages AI to map roles efficiently across the organization’s broad geographical and functional spectrum.

- Scalability and Compliance: It is crucial to develop a job architecture that is adaptable to companies’ specifics, global standards and at the same time, compliant with new legal requirements. The resulting Job Architecture must be robust enough to handle organizational and regulatory complexities without sacrificing functionality.

Utilizing tailored tools with AI-integration, real-time collaboration and Role-Based-User Management can significantly streamline the mapping and management of job roles across different regions and departments.
